CSG Wins 2024 Certifiably Green Denver Green Business Showcase Award

The City and County Office of Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency (CASR) hosted a reception at RiNo's Greenspaces to honor local companies who demonstrate a bold commitment to sustainability, community resilience, and innovation.

CSG is thrilled to be recognized with the 2024 Certifiably Green Denver Green Business Showcase Award.

 

According to judges, CSG stands out in in the following areas:

  • Extraordinary Environmental Practices: Genuine dedication to developing and implementing sustainable business practices, with clear, tangible progress towards CSG's environmental goals.

  • Community Wellbeing: Active efforts to improve and support the community—through education, volunteerism, and philanthropy—have not gone unnoticed. Work that truly makes a difference.

  • Green Innovation: Demonstrated a forward-thinking approach for the City and County of Denver, enhancing environmental performance and promoting the importance of sustainable business.

CSG's Denver Action Clean Team and Denver Action Partners honored as 2023 Governor's Awards for Downtown Excellence, Best Partnership

Downtown Colorado held its annual conference, In The Game, April 11-14, 2023 in Loveland, CO. The annual Governor's Awards for Downtown Excellence nominees were recognized at a reception during the conference.

 

CSG's Denver Action Clean Team and Denver Action Partners received the award for Best Partnership.

CSG Part of Fair Chance Hiring Film Screening & Panel Discussion

The Colorado Fair Chance Hiring Initiative, Breakthrough, Small Business Majority and the Latino Coalition for Community Leadership hosted a screening of the movie, Apart, followed by a panel discussion.

 

The documentary Apart follows three incarcerated mothers as they prepare to return home from prison and work to rebuild their lives after being separated from their children for years. 

 

April 2023 is Second Chance Month across the United States. This event brought together businesses, business leaders, community partners, government representatives, justice-involved individuals and community members to educate about the importance of workforce inclusion for individuals who have experienced the justice system.

Denver8's Elevated Denver speaks to Consolidated Services Group (CSG) about how fair chance employment has helped employees take a step forward in their lives.

DENVERITE PRESENTS DENVERITES IN PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT AT LEON GALLERY

“Denverite Presents Denverites" showcased portraits of Denverites made by Denverite Visual Journalist Kevin Beaty in his six years working for the news site. CSG Clean Team member James Kinney is featured in the photography exhibit!

 

The Oct. 2022 photography show featured dozens of portraits of the people who make Denver. Denverite called the collection a "community of portraiture that brings our shared humanity into a gallery environment. Individually, each photograph represents one story. Together, they demonstrate the diversity of culture and experience that makes Denver dynamic and unique."

FINDS HOPE AND A HOME AT A SAFE-CAMPING SITE

Mark Montes is feeling good about himself right now. Known as "Shorty" among his friends, the 50-year-old has been working a steady part-time job at CSG for over a month, cleaning the 16th Street Mall for the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District.

CBS4 DENVER: Cathedral Basilica Of The Immaculate Conception In Denver Vandalized, CSG Cleans

Cleaning crews spent part of their Sunday washing graffiti off of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The basilica sits on Colfax Avenue at Logan Street in downtown Denver.
